Terms of Use
Last updated: 13 August 2026
This is a free tool run by one person as a side project. These terms are short because the arrangement is simple.
The service
The extension shows AI-generated summaries of YouTube videos. Summaries are written by a language model watching the video, and they will sometimes be wrong โ they may miss things, misattribute claims, or get numbers and names wrong. Don't rely on one for anything that matters. If you spot a bad summary, the thumbs-down button is how you flag it.
Your account
You sign in with Google. You are responsible for what happens under your account. One account per person.
Fair use
There is a weekly allowance of video minutes. The current figure is shown in the extension's settings, and it changes from time to time. Don't try to get around it โ no scripting the extension, no automating requests, no creating multiple accounts to multiply the allowance. Accounts doing that may be limited or removed without notice.
Availability
There is no uptime guarantee. The service may be slow, unavailable, or discontinued at any time. It has a daily spending limit, so summaries may occasionally be unavailable until the following day. If it shuts down permanently, reasonable notice will be given on this site where possible.
Content
Summaries describe videos published by other people on YouTube. This service does not host, own or endorse those videos, and is not affiliated with YouTube or Google.
No warranty, no liability
The service is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any loss arising from your use of it or from reliance on a summary. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
Ending it
You can stop at any time: delete your data from the extension's settings and uninstall it. Accounts breaking these terms may be suspended.
Changes
These terms may change. The date at the top will be updated when they do, and continuing to use the service means accepting the new version.
